On behalf of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, welcome to Middle Tennessee State University. This year you will no doubt encounter new challenges and opportunities that will help to shape your college experience and lead to future success in life.
Beta Theta Pi believes that college men should be recognized for their success and for their desire to achieve. In fact, for more than 165 years, we have been in the business of building Men of Principle. Beta Theta Pi strives to provide strong relationships as well as leadership opportunities and personal development. For many of our members, these skills have transferred to professional life. You have probably heard of some of them . . . Wal-Mart Founder Sam Walton, Baseball Great Mike Schmidt, Retail Guru Bruce Nordstrom, and Former Secretary of Defense William Perry, to name a few.
In hopes of providing these same opportunities to you, the Epsilon Theta chapter of Beta Theta Pi here at MTSU offers two $500 scholarships designated by the Beta Theta Pi Foundation for male students at Middle Tennessee State University interested in fraternity recruitment. We seek men who demonstrate devotion to academic achievement and a commitment to making both the university and community better places to live. Most importantly, we seek men who desire to develop skills that will help them become successful in college, but will also carry over to their professional and personal lives.

...by Friday, September 15th,2006. By applying for this scholarship, you are not committing yourself to membership in Beta Theta Pi or any other organization; rather, you are merely affirming your desire to strive for excellence. For many men, the Beta experience has been a catalyst for success.
